Leave it to me to wait until March 9 to post about my February Buys. This month was actually a really great month of products that I've been dying to talk about too!
CeraVe face cleanser / Revlon face moisturizer / Maybelline beauty product / Lips makeup
This month, I took some advice from r/skincare addiction and updating my cleanser and moisturizer game. I had been using Clean n Clear's Daily Pore cleanser and really liked it. Then I found out all those little microbeads were REALLY bad for the environment so I switched to Cerave's Foaming Facial cleanser and loved it! I've also been battling some seriously dry skin this winter and needed a new moisturizer because my Neutrogena daily whatever was really not cutting it. After my positive experience with Cerave's cleanser, I had to buy the moisturizer (in the tub!) The price is a little steep but the container is HUGE. I will probably never use it all before it expires because a little dab is all I need. (I have noticed that it can make my makeup "pill up" so I bought the Kabuki Brush Set from Eco Tools and have been using the flat brush to buff on my makeup. I've found that to help a lot but I'm still perfecting the finish of it. Brushes are hard, guys.
My newest addition though are Maybelline's Lip Elixirs. These things are awesome. They are beautifully pigmented, so glossy, and NOT STICKY. I cannot rave about them enough. I snagged two of the colors, Vision in Violet and Captivating Carnation. The purple is AMAZING and Captivating Carnation is a nice subtle pink with a nice shine. I love them both. I plan on picking up Breathtaking Apricot because I need it.
