Molton Brown Gift Set - A Fragrant Trip Back To England

Sorry for the hiatus! I'm going to try to get back into blogging about my terrible obsession with makeup and whatnot.

I've been a little busy being (f)unemployed again and applying to grad school in the UK. Yep, that's right, England. I'm doing it.

But since my entire life is now revolving around the stress of finding a new job while applying to grad school and still managing all my self-publishing work, I decided to take a nice hot shower last night before bed. Right before hopping in, I remembered Pete's mum gave me a gift set of Molton Brown shower gel and lotions for Christmas that I hadn't yet utilized (because I never remembered to grab one to put in the shower plus the gift box just looked too pretty!)

So I grabbed a bottle of Gingerlily body wash and hopped in.

As I began lathering myself with my happy pink bath pouf and the shower gel, I was instantly back in Devon with Pete in the cottage he rented for us on my first trip over there. It was amazing. I've never been so excited about fragrance before!

When I got out, the scent stayed on my skin and I was so excited to tell Pete. I told him I'm putting the bottle of body wash away for when he has to return to the Mother Land in a couple of month for Visa reasons and we have to spend some time apart before I hop on a plane and meet him over there.

I proceeded to put on the lotion before going to bed as well and found that the lotion seems to have a bit more of a floral scent to it than the shower gel for some reason so I'm more in favor of the shower gel. Both are wonderful though and are totally worth the money-- I know I'll have to splurge a little once my little travel size bottles run out! (Even though I have like 5 other fragrances to run through in my set!)

I just had to break my blogging hiatus to share that story. It's funny how a tiny bottle of body wash can instantly take me back to the UK like that.
